I’m currently organising a blog tour for Matthew Stillman with his novel, Genesis Deflowered.

Here’s the blurb:

“Genesis Deflowered” takes the King James Bible’s version of Genesis, full of “thees'” and “thous'”, and adds text to turn that classic into an erotic novel. But the words added are in the same terse, poetic and very chaste language of the Elizabethan/Jacobean style.

All the words and stories from the original are there and in tact. Adam and Eve, Abraham and Sarah, Jacob and Rachel and more. Finding ways of describing the erotic space that so many of the famous biblical characters inhabit makes the Bible much more human, readable, and interesting while connecting the sexual aspect with the spiritual one.
